"JB out 6/25/24Customer states microwave oven on microwave wall oven combo heats intermittently. Upon arrival captured model serial tag. Verified unit is 19 years old. Also verified microwave oven door springs are broken and doors very heavy as a result. Tested microwave oven operation verified no heat. Held door closed to compensate for lack of door, spring tension, and microwave oven heated intermittently several times and heated, several times it did not heat. Propose replace both door springs and all three microwave oven switches And interlock switch holders. Interlock switch holders are no longer available. Advise customer switches can be replaced, but there is a potential for the plastic interlock switch holder to break when removing old switch and installing new ones. Ars cannot be held liable if the interlock switch holders break during replacement switches. Estimate to replace all three switches and both door springs is as follow Total parts equal $411.18.
