"Found the flow out of the dispenser was slow. Checked water source and found the valve was not closing. Pushed in valve, it caught the threads and closed. Checked for flow at the source and found it better than out the dispenser. Opened valve, but not all the way and checked flow at the dispenser. Found the flow was greatly increased. Showed customer the supply valve connected to the outside spigot on the other side of the wall and explained what i had done. Unit checks ok.."

Found the U portion of the valve stem twisted (see b4 pictures) . This happens when the valve is turned without being depressed. Reset valve stem with a adjustable spanner to maintain the shape and realign the stem so the knob will be in the correct position. Checked knob for security. Knob position is good. The unit is not connected to power or gas for testing.
