Warning! do not use Appliance Repair Service Specialist to repair anything. Took my money, did not even attempt to disassemble and diagnose the problem. I called customer service 6 times spoke with Joel,Jenny and Alex. I asked to have another tech come out or return my $115.00. Always told me that Tech supervisor (Adrew Parson) would call me back.NEVER HAPPENED.

We spent $500 to fix a problem, the refrigerator dropping temperatures. The override does not work, used to have to turn the refrigerator off to get the temperature to reset and now that does not even work. Max school is actually warmer than the actual temperature we can set. The fix lasted a week, this morning the refrigerator temperature was 27°, food contains the freezer continue to throw it out. The repair did not work at all. We cannot even get the refrigerator temperature to reset now. This should not be happening with an appliance of this caliber and expense.

It was obvious that Patrick Carraway is very competent in diagnosing problems and solving them quickly. As soon as we explained that our Kitchen Aid refrigerator was not maintaining the desired temp, he explained that the part needed exceeded the cost limit w/o prior authorization. He returned several days later with the correct part and installed it without delay. I was impressed with his pleasant and professional manner.

After Lowes extended warranty service tried a patch, we finally got a complete condenser replacement. The serviceman did an excellent job on both occasions (the patch and the full repair). He was quick, efficient and very clear about what we should look for as symptoms of patch failure. He was right on all counts and explained clearly how Lowes had try the patch before doing the full replacement. A good and really helpful guy.

They called and cancelled my first appointment after I had waited over a week the day before. Rescheduled me for a week later. Gave me a window of 10-12. I called company at 12:15 because technician still hadn’t shown up and they couldn’t reach him. I received an automated message that he was on his way at 12:48. Technician showed up at 1:30. An hour and a half after my window. He never even apologized for being late. He fixed my part in 9 min. I timed him. Only reason pice got good review was because I didn’t pay for it. Maytag covered the part.

Unfortunately, the person that serviced our washer did not want to listen to me about what was wrong and in turn had to return three times. After he attempted to fix it the second time he would not wait 5 minutes after he apparently repaired it to see if it was working properly. He told me that he trouble shooted it and it was all he could do and that he did not have time to wait and see if it continued to make the grinding noise. I asked him to please wait 5 minutes and he said he could not and got very rude. I asked him, if he could wait until I phoned his company and he just left abruptly. Right after he left, I turned on the machine and within 3 minutes it began making the noise. I phoned your company and they had to call him back to try and fix it. I was very disappointed in the way he treated me and that he had to be called back out a third time because of his impatience and refusal to wait 5 minutes for the cycle to kick in.

Horrible customer service—expect to take a full day off to wait for them

I set up an appointment for warranty service through Lowe’s and was assigned to this company. I was given an appointment two weeks out from 8am-noon. A few days before, I called and told the company that I had a very important job interview that day and asked approximately how long the service would take so I could schedule the interview. They offered to put me on the 8 am slot to be sure I’d make it to my interview in the afternoon. The day before, they called me and said the window was changing to 1-5 pm—without any concern for whether I was available or any apologies for changing. I was able to rearrange my schedule for them, and then the repairman came for about 10 minutes and said he had to order a part and would come back in a week but that I’d have to wait at home for another 4 hour window. I told the company I work on the only day they were available and that I wouldn’t be back until 1 pm at the earliest. They said ok and made a note of it. The day of the appointment they called me at 12:15 and said they would be there in 15 minutes. They have no regard for the customer’s schedule and expect that I can just cancel everything important to me at the last minute to accommodate them. I’m an emergency doctor and can’t just leave my sick patients to die just because an appliance company can’t bother to come when they say they’ll come. If I had a choice (which I don’t given that this is who Lowe’s contracts with), I would never choose this company for being so rude and inconsiderate. The only good thing was that my technician seemed competent and hopefully fixed the problem, but he had no control over the schedule.

Dane was organized, efficient, and professional. I have one suggestion, however. When I initially contacted appliance specialist for repair of my oven, they said they have the part in stock and it would be on the truck when the repair man came to my house. Dane came on that initial visit, but the part was not on his truck and had to be ordered. I was OK with that, but I called the Friday before Thanksgiving to inquire if the part has come. I was told it had, and a visit was scheduled for the following Monday. The good news is, I didn't have to cancel Thanksgiving. The bad new is, I had to cook for two days. Appliance specialist may want to work on the process of calling the customer to schedule a repair visit when a part comes in..
