"Unit is not defrosting. Has ice build up, at the evaporator. Checked resistance on both the defrost heat and thermistor, thermistor had resistance of 3 ohms, defrost heater had 90 ohms. Botha checked out as working. Replaced thermistor and readjusted per service pointer. I made sure thermistor is at the right place and clip was slightly loose so I zip tied it with what came in the bag. Also replaced main board because both components had resistance. Unit should be continued to defrost, leave off until the next day and turn on as usual. Job complete."

"JB out 10/23/23.Customer has noticed burn marks on the back of the vent inside the dryer along the back wall. Upon arrival inspected dryer, drum and bulkhead. Found dark burn marks on stainless steel heat outlets. Advise customer this is the end of the run from the firebox and this is normal. This heat mark can be seen on any manufacturers dryer And is 100% normal. Inspected Installation Ducting found correctly done. Tested dryer and inspected exhaust vent hood found a cumulation of lint in Exhaust vent hood. Recommend customer contact a qualified vent and Ducting cleaning service. No Defect found.
