"Customer states the unit is not freezing properly. Some of the food is not frozen solid and ice cream becomes mushy after only a day or two. Called WPTS(7738871236) and spoke to them about what I saw. The evaporator fan was not running while I was speaking to the customer. I turned down the cooling and closed the door. As she was removing the Fc items the fan came on. When I opened the evaporator compartment there was only a partial frost pattern. Later after troubleshooting it looked better even though I would expect it to be worse since I had the unit open and the evaporation panel off while I was inspecting for leaks. When doing a wattage test there was only about 15-20 watts. Per WPTS it should be more like 70-90 watts the amp draw was about 1 amp. I looked for evidence of leaks in the unit and evaporator compartments but found no evidence. WPTS recommended pressurizing the unit with nitrogen and checking for leaks. If I do this now the customer will not have any cooling at all until I can get sealed system parts to repair this unit. Inspected unit and found breaker power short. Reset and unit fired up. Unit is now working per design. Cx approved repair.

Found the strike on the lid broken so the unit is unable to preform a cycle. I replaced the defective strike and all functions were restored. All functions tested properly in diagnostics. Job completed.

Inspected unit and found unit with 2 minutes left n a cycle. Unit is working per design. The lid does have a crack and is preventing lid from closing all the time. Cx is insisting that the unit doesnt work. Every time Ive been here the Cx is trying to get me to help her buy a new by saying its not fixable. Cx needs a Spanish speaking technician. Im calling office to call her. Im here replacing the broken lid. After I repair I will run my tests on the unit. If I find anything more wrong I will address those issues then. Found the unit has a f7e1 error code. Found the motor open on the windings. I replaced the sump and motor assembly and ran a diagnostic tested. The drain pump was louder the pan normally on initial power up but thats because it was running dry. After running water and doing a diagnostic cycle all functions worked and sounded normally. All functions now ok and I removed the error codes stored. Job completed.

Found the valve cycled on and off as normal but the issue with the exhaust duct inside the dryer was very restricted. I removed all debris and blockages. I ran my vent test and it now passes with the vent connected. I do recommend the customer get a new vent because of the amount of debris in it. All functions tested properly after repair. Job completed.

Customer states there was a lot of frost all over the FC and the noise was much louder earlier. Found the evaporator fan was stalled by ice. Defrosted the evaporator and ducting . Ensured the fan was working. Unit checks ok.
