"In warranty. Cx states intermittent heating of dryer. Cx is experiencing long dry times. Venting exits at roof of house. Started timed dry high heat cycle. With exhaust connected, flame stays on for less than 30 seconds once warmed up. Removed exhaust and ran same test. Flame now stays on for an average of 37 seconds. Exhaust is obstructed, but gas coils are also failing due to overheating of cabinet. Replaced burner assembly, that include the gas coils. Tested unit with and without exhaust disconnected. With exhaust disconnected, flame now stays on for an average of 40 seconds. With exhaust connected, flame only stays on for 30 seconds on average. Unit operating as designed. Cx will continue to experience long dry times until vent is cleaned. Job complete."
