I understand that the igniting mechanism is a defective part that commonly needs replacing on the Whirlpool oven. It seems that these parts would be in stock to avoid delays in repairing. I was without a oven for 13 days. If the part was brought by the 1st service repair man it would have been only 8 days. Maybe Whirlpool could improve their reputation by correcting this part so it does not typically fail overtime. If they want people to buy American they should look to the quality of their products.

I was very happy with Appliance Repair Services recently to help with a problem with our dishwasher. They responded quickly and the appointment was within a reasonable timeframe. Most importantly they fixed the problem! I recommend them for your appliance repair needs.

I have been waiting over 2 months and am waiting for the 5th visit of a repairman to fix a microwave that is under warranty. George started the repair process and appeared unprepared as he had to each time order parts and then return to put them in. At one point when he completed installing parts and the microwave still didn’t work, George told me, “This is not coming from me, but if you tell me you’ve had it and want a new microwave it will be better for you”. I told George whatever it takes, I just want a microwave that works. According to Whirlpool who I contacted a few days later to follow up on my microwave, George submitted a report indicating that I refused to have my microwave repaired. This is a complete non-truth and has caused my continued absence of a working microwave. I blame my continued problems on George and his lack of either knowledge or initiative to provide service to repair my microwave.

George and his company were professional on time and very thorough.

Like going to the dentist…tooth doesn’t hurt when you get there. Our stove didn’t act up when George was here. Oven kept its temperature and broiler worked…weird. Hopefully that continues.
