The unit is under manufacture warranty through Costco two year. The customer complaint is not draining. The model number was incorrect so the parts sent were not for this model. The unit has a broken wire in the main harness and it is the blue wire going to the main harness. I took a photo of the wire broken. I was able to run a diagnostic cycle and verified all other parts are functioning. Im forcing on my route for tomorrow because they have already been rescheduled twice. The unit is under extended warranty so no changes for the service. The customer complaint is the wash making a squealing or squeaking noise while operating. I ran a few test cycles and I was unable to replicate the noise but I did fine the suspension rods slightly worn so I replaced those. After I ran another diagnostic cycle to verify operation. All functions tested ok. I recommend if the noise comes back to record it so we can see whats it doing during that time. All functions working after repair. Job completed.

The unit is under manufacture warranty so no changes for the service. The customers complaint is the refrigerator section not getting as cold as it should. Found the evap motor running on arrival but no air making it to the refrigerator section or to the ice maker as well. I ran a forced defrost in diagnostics and the heater is coming on. I removed all the ice in the freezer section and replaced the faulty main control. All functions returned to normal and temps will return in 24-48 hours. Job completed.

Customers complaint is the unit making a high pitched noise during spin. The cam and belt were just replaced in may. I replaced the gearcase cam belt and wash plate. The gearcase I believe is out of tolerance and allowing the belt to slip and make noise during operation. After replacing all parts listed I verified operation and recalibrated the unit. I recommend and explained to the customer to wait 24 hours for the loc tite on the nut that hold the cam assembly in place to cure all the way through. Customer understood. All functions restored and working after repair. Job completed.

Sept 16, 2024 - Overall the expertise and workmanship provided by my service technician was excellent. His insight and professionalism far outweighed the help I received from the previous company’s technician whose work did nothing but cause my refrigerator to fail even more. I was glad that Appliance Repair Specialists sent me a very knowledgeable individual in this trade. The only disappointing part of this experience was initially having to wait so long for the parts to come in (ordered Aug 30), then on the day parts were expected to arrive (approx. Sept 4) I get a call to say it was going to take even longer Sept 9 or 10. Then another call on Sept 9 that said parts were going to be late by another day, but technician could only pick up on his designated day(s), was booked on the closest day following pick up, so he had to be scheduled to do the repair on a Friday (Sept 13). Two weeks in total I was without a refrigerator since using you guys on 8/30/24. I would have given a 5-Star rating if the parts could have come in a week sooner as I was expecting. We had the worse possible luck of being without a refrigerator during the hottest weather of the year (temperature ranged from 100 to 113 degrees - super hot!)
