Customer is satisfied with diagnosis, advised customer to call a different plumber to resolve issue, not sure what that pvc is that is going into the drain, thinking it is a overflow and it has to do with the draining issue"

Noise from fan was due to a small ice build up around it. This was happening because the freezer door was not closing properly. JB out 3/26/2022. Customer service stainless steel vent and back wall of dryer drum (rear bulkhead) is stained and its rubbing off onto laundry being dried. Advised of some forensic object that came in contact with grill melted. No mechanical defect found. Advised melted stain may be washed but use No Flammable cleaning agents. Advised customer dryer was not installed correctly. Original installer used a thin foil type ducting material. The manufacturer Maytag advises against use of plastic or thin foil ducting material as both pose a potential hazard for fire and risk for loss of life. It is the homeowners responsibility to correct this installation deficiency and remove the fire potential.No parts used. No charge to customer. JOB COMPLETE
