"Upon arrival, I found that the unit was accumulating frost around the damper on the refrigerator side. This was caused by air leaks around the refrigerator door gasket. I used a heat gun to relax the gasket and reshape it to fix all of the leaks. No more leaks present after service. This should fix the entire frost issue. Job complete."

"Whirlpool file Sr#7734209277. I called tech line and explained that the original magnetron had melted wave guide antenna and after 11 days of use on new magnetron the wave guide cover burnt a small hole in it. Tech line told me to inspect antenna for damage. I looked through wave guide with mirror and saw no damage at antenna or anywhere else. Tech line said it could have been food on cover and to replace it. I replaced cover and tested with water. All tests good. If it happens again that means there must be damage in the wave guide and unit would not be repairable. If that is the case, customer can reach out to whirlpool customer service with file number to see if they can help any."

"F8E1 present upon arrival. Found one of the solenoids on the valve to have a bad connection with the harness. Fixed that and fixed the valve issue. Alternatively, the unit is on a pedestal which puts it much higher than the drain pipe. According to Technical Installation Pointer #: W10608624, this is causing water to siphon back into the unit. I shared this information with the customer and informed them that the best way to fix this is to remove the washer from its pedestal. That would put the drain pipe at the proper level and would not allow any more siphoning. Unit is now working as design. Job complete."

"F8e1. Cleared error code, ran diagnostics, no hot water being dispensed. Checked the water source, the handle on the hot water faucet was broken, not engaging properly on the valve shaft, and it was in the off position. Turned the hot water faucet on, the unit started dispensing hot water right away. All units ops check fine at the time of service. Advised the customer to replace both water faucet handles."
