Unit leaking out bottom of FC. I found that the drain tube was frozen over causing defrost water to pool in evaporator drain pan and eventually leak down and out the door. I found that the heat probe designed to keep the drain from freezing was bent and not going down in drain all the way. I also found that the lip on the drain pan was bent down and there was no lip. I defrosted drain. I straightened probe and inserted all the way. I put the lip back into the drain pan as well. I tested proper drain operation with water. All tests good.

"Upon arrival, went to replace the left door switch. After removing it found that the inner liner was full of water and corrosion, was able to dry it up with a paper towel, but there is a short in the harness that comes out of the actual liner, which is not repairable and was damaged due to water inside the liner at this point, I contacted tech-support tech-support, had me run a couple tests had me send him pictures of the corrosion, the rusty harness, and all of the stuff that I have found. They are putting the unit up for review and replacement tech-support gave me a SR number. That number is 773-721-9214. At this moment there is nothing I can do to fix this product. Whirlpool will be in contact with the customer to see what steps are going. Further job complete advise customer that it might take 3 to 5 days for whirlpool to contact them regarding a replacement refrigerator after review."

The unit is having low ice production and they replaced the icemaker about two weeks ago. The icemaker is working fine now the refrigerator is having an issue with dispensing water and the auger motor turning intermittently, I ran tests on these cannot figure out what was going on. At this point I contacted tech-support tech-support advised me that the consumer would need new control boards. "Verified no fault codes are present. Verified the upper and lower oven bake and broil relays are functioning. Customers bread comes out cooked on top and still raw at the bottom. Advised oven that placement of what is being baked is relative due to the bake element being hidden under the oven liner and the broil element being exposed. Heat from the broil element will reach the item faster than the heat from the bake element. Customer has been placing items on the very center. Advised customer to place items on the first or second levels from the bottom. Also advised customer to use convection bake to assist with heat distribution. Customer will advise if this corrects her issue. If service is requested, preID the oven sensor and bake element, possible bake element may lose resistance in time."

"JB out 8/29/23. Customer states newly installed dishwasher is not drying the dishes. Upon arrival verified dishwasher running inspect the dishwasher found water is very hot but below the required minimum of 120°F as set forth in the supply installation guide from the factory. Verified customer is using liquid rinse aid in the supply dispenser. Recommend customer purchase install and use a point of use hot water heater located under the kitchen sink set to 125°F to ensure that the moment the dishwasher start button is pressed the dishwasher should receive no less than the required 120°F. Also advise customer of hard water deposits buildup on the dishwashers interior heating element. Recommend installation use of a water, softening machine or at the very minimum purchase of use of LEMMESHINE with each washload to help reduce hard water deposits. No parts used. No charge to customer. Advised customer of one time courtesy no charge on a no Defect, Fountain Service covers it."

JB out 8/29/23. Customer states 1. Ice maker makes very little or no ice. 2. Storage bin on upper RH door has a stainless steel cosmetic strip on it but it is coming off. Upon arrival verified ice storage bin is full to capacity with ice cubes indicating ice maker currently working properly. Checked set temperatures at -1 FC and 35 RC. Advised customer the stainless steel strip coming off of the door storage bin (See quick pic photos taken) is cosmetic in nature and cosmetic issues are not covered under the manufacturers warranty after 30 days From Date of Purchase. Refer customer to Whirlpool Customer Service for resolution.

JB out 8/29/23. Customer states dishwasher door will not close or latch. Dishwasher will not operate. Found dishwasher not installed correctly installed . Dishwasher is lower on the right side and causes the door to be misaligned and as a result will not close NOTE: This is a new issue and not related to the last service visit where lower rack wheels were replaced. Unit did operate as of last service visit but customer was advised to contact original installer to return to correct the installation. Please see quick pic photos taken on bothe visit dates.No repair made as installation corrections are not covered under the extended warranty.
