Never again




The time frame was 10-1. Never a call from him or your company. As I'm on hold with your company he arrives at 1:20, no apology or explanation. Also, when I made the appointment I was told you would call with the estimate of an expensive part. Never a call from anyone. The repairman left still without an reason, an apology. Still charged the $75 fee and the cost for the part (we didn't know how much) and hopefully we will never need your company's assistance again.

Jesus was very polite and put his shoe covers on without my asking. He immediately identified what was wrong with one of my burners and fixed it. He explained and showed me what had been done incorrectly.

Hector did a great job but I’m unhappy that my less than 30 days old refrigerator needed to have the ice maker repaired. Not what I expect from a Whirlpool product.

I got an education




The technician that came to service our dishwasher, Hector, arrived early, did what he came to do, and educated me on the Whirlpool product that we had purchased. I'm disappointed in the product, not the technician. I had no idea that I am supposed to add phosphates to my dishwasher so that it does the job and lasts longer. However, phosphates cause nutrient pollution and feed algae. Hector explained the new dishwasher technology, which saves water. All very good to know.

Mr Castanon is very knowledgeable. He is an expert at what he does. My initial concern dealing over the phone with the extended warranty people from Jenn-Air, was not justified. I would certainly have Mr Castanon back out when the Jenn-Air ice maker breaks again. Poor design probably keeps Mr. Castanon busy.

The Tech was good, professional- however he had to make two trips, he wasn’t given parts. The second time he did whatever he could but didn’t have the cover for the handle.

Jesus is an outstanding service mechanic. He’s done a very good job considering what he had to work on. Our refrigerator is top of the line and four years old. It’s had a plethora of minor problems since we purchased it. Then the compressor went out. Thank the Lord for extended warranties. It would have cost a ton of money. He had to replace a lot of parts, then 36 hours later the fridge quit cooling a second time. On Jesus’ third return, he found a leak in the second condenser which wasn’t there the first time. Yesterday he repaired that problem and the fridge is working fine at the moment. Hopefully nothing else happens. So far, we were without the fridge for over three weeks. That is certainly not the fault of Jesus or ARS, just bad luck.

I feel as if all your service guy does is drive around and pick up checks for $125. He didn’t carry tools because he knew the drill you just say it cost more to repair than to fix and to buy a new one. He gave me a good suggestion to buy a speed queen clothes washer which we did, that was helpful and good advise but to pay that much money to hear once again it’s not worth fixing seems like a scam to me.
