Execellent Service




Purchased a new Samsung washer and dryer. Heard metal noises in the washer drum. Service rep came out and said it was the ball bearings. There was no problem at all. He did a courtesy test and gave tips on maintenance.

wasted our time. He knew almost nothing about the product. I had to prod him just to open to look at beyond the customer control panel. did not have any idea about running diagnostics thru the diagnostic interface plug put there by Kitchen Aid for diagnostics.

Nice repairman, poor scheduling




Izzy was nice, but was 3 hours late the first appointment. He was scheduled between 9 and 12 and showed up at 3:00 2nd appt was set up with Izzy when he was here for 1st appt then it was changed the day before to PM without asking, creating issues. 1 hour repair and $40 in parts cost $275. Not great value. Had Izzy been 20 minutes later for first appointment, I would have purchased a new machine and cancelled appointment.

Ethan came within the established window time both times he was here. He was knowledgable regarding the dishwasher appliance repair and part necessary. I believe out of Ethan's control was it took one week for the part to be delivered and his returning to complete the repair. That was the only downside.

Izzy did a great job considering that they did not send him all the parts for his first visit. He had to move the entire oven out of the wall which was a hard job. He stayed until he was sure everything was working properly. Unfortunately, Izzy had to come from the west side (he is not usually in the Hollywood area) where he got tied up in traffic until late and could not make the appointment that day.

The tech was a nice guy Fixed the problem quickly. But my frustration was with he did not show up in the four hour window. The company should have called me to let me know he would be late. I had things I had to do in the afternoon and I was put behind schedule. I wasn’t really happy about that!

Still not working properly




Technician and his superior (I believe coaching him in the phone) insisted the parts replaced were fine. He told me that if I were to call them again and could not prove the oven was overheating, I would be charged a service fee, despite my warrantee. For what it’s worth, I baked some cookies today that once again burned because the temp went up to 425 instead of keeping in the 350 range. NOT FIXED. I am taking this up with Whirlpool, and may pay out of pocket for future repairs if this is the only company used. Will also place a review on Yelp.

Overall Ethan is a super nice guy. However, to come over for $115 and not even test anything, just to look at the microwave and say the panel is out. I don’t know about that. At least test something that tells you the panel is the issue. Couldn’t there be some other way of diagnosing things. I can look at it too and say, yep that panels out, there’s no lights and no touch response, duh. Not worth $115, should have taken that money and put it towards a new front panel.

Tech came out to view washer after the door (top load) kept slamming down. He indicated he would order the part and set up a time for install once part was received. Scheduled a time but he was unable to make it due to car trouble. I appreciate that he was able to communicate that he would be unable to come out and scheduled another time right away. Overall, satisfied costumer!


SORRY WE EVER HEARD OF ARS




We were referred to ARS by Maytag, the maker of our washing machine. We had contacted Maytag because we wanted factory authorized service. The problem was a leak. The original appointment was for a Friday. When they didn't show up and we called, we were told they had us on the schedule for the following Wednesday. As is usual nowadays, when they showed up on Wednesday it was only to assess the repair needed. They were to return on Friday to complete the job. On Friday they showed up but because they had failed to bring the tool needed to install the part, they rescheduled for the following Tuesday. On Tuesday the part was installed. That evening when we used the machine it leaked. They were called the following day but couldn't return for two more days. Upon the return visit a clamp was tightened and the repairman left claiming the problem was solved. At the next use, the machine leaked. We're now waiting two more days for the next return visit. So far we've paid $377 with no resolution to the original problem.
