"Upon arriving, I have set the unit into diagnostics and found 3 way switching as designed, we have fans motion, and FF section is still cooling normally. So further inspection in freezers compartment showed a big block of solid ice embracing the capillary and mastic is no longer insulating as it should. Called whirlpool to document and spoke with David, after my explanation of my findings, David recommended replacing the wire harness along with bi-metal. SR 7739284477. "Unit was turned on an hour before arrival. Customer states there was a load noise, ice was not being made, and ice cream was soft. From the extensive sealed system work I see in the history of this unit is suspect a leak that has been present since the unit was first unboxed. The evaporator and compressor have been replaced twice. Called TID 87321991 to see how they wanted me to proceed*. They want me to Pressurize the system and to check for visible leaks. If there are no leaks and a drop of pressure I am to contact TID. This is a slow leak and will take time to present itself. Spoke with a supervisor who recommended pressurizing in the morning , doing the leak check and returning at the end of the day to check pressures.; saved tckt"
