Found the unit not making ice properly. The ice is slushy and not firm. The drain pump and recirculating pump checked ok. The only issue I can find is the cutting grid not fully inserted. Could possibly cause this issue. I do recommend the customer have the condenser cleaned and a new filter installed as well. All functions tested ok after reconnecting the cutting grid. Allow 24 to 48 hours for ice to normalize. Job completed

Found the temps checked ok at this time 3 degrees in the freezer and 38 in the refrigerator. The issue is a gap on the left side of the freezer door and thats causing warmer temps in the freezer and can also affect the refrigerator. As a result of the air leak the freezer door switch was frozen shut so I replaced it and now it functions when the door is opened. "Visual and physical inspection was conducted and functional testing was attempted but not achieved, and so it was getting into diagnostics. So at this point i am recommending for membrane and controller to be replaced. I was able to find the membrane but not the controller. Called whirlpool to document and spoke with David, he has confirmed that needed part is not available. SR 7740471318. David confirmed that the main board is no longer available. Consumer has contacted warranty company and spoke with Roland recommended to customer to submit a full explanation of technician diagnostics in order to process the claim. ; ordrng 1 WPW10207928 (Switch membrane)"

JB OUT 12/5/24Customer states there is a natural gas odor when unit is NOT in use.Upon arrival found unit plugged in but Gas supply shut off.NOTE: Previous Service Company replace a Spark switch and Oven Gas Valve assembly recently.Used Big Blue Microleack Detector on Gas shutoff valve and both ends of the recently replace flex gas supply line. Removed all six burner assemblies. Checked each opening for gas odor. Verified Natural Gas odor under the removed RF burner assembly.Verified NO gas leak at gas shut off or gas supply line.ORDERING replacement Gas Burner Valve assemblies (all 6).; ordrng 1 WB28X28148 (Cover) and 2 WB21X20470 (BURNER VALVE)s and 2 WB21X20612 (BURNER VALVE)s and 1 WB21X25979 (BURNER VALVE) and 1 WB21X28821 (BURNER VALVE) and 1 WB02X24726 (INJET LARGE V2)
