JB out 9/17/24.Upon arrival found refrigerator plugged in but off. Turned unit on and verified compressor running. Verified evaporator fan motor running and unit is beginning to cool. Checked icebox fan and found in operative. Ran diagnostic test number 36 to activate icebox fan and found icebox fan running properly. Exited diagnostics back to normal run mode. Verified icebox fan now running. Allowed unit to run an additional 25 minutes more. Verified compressor stopped running at about 45 minutes of runtime and would not restart.Removed origin Compressor after properly venting refrigerant.Installed replacement compressor and drier (non dye). After leaving the seals in the sun for a half hour it took anther 1 hour to steam the gaskets that came in a plastic bag and a box to quarter the size of the gasket. Instructed the customer to leave the unit off for another 24 hours for the seals to flatten and to clean them regularly so this does not happen again.

"So because of an annoying groaning noise coming from the wash pump, a new wash pump was replaced but, the noise was still present, whirlpool recommended replacing the pump again. So I went the extra mile and dismantled the diverter disk and housing and tested the pump on its own and there was no noise observed. So Ive recommended replacing the housing and diverter disk. "Upon arrival found unit with error code F6E3, this about miss communication between ACU and UI. Erase the code and run a test on the unit, for ui functionality. Unit passes the test without any problems. Run the unit as well on test mode for spin, this in order to try replicate the noise customer have by the last minute of the cycle, hear a noise coming form the motor rotor area, check the unit and found unit has a missing screw for the slider and rotor. Replace the rotor and slider on the unit. Retest the unit and now unit doesnt have that noise any more. Informed the customer, this issue happens when the unit is getting overloaded, and rotor is against the floor on activation mode, and this causing the screw start getting loose. Job complete"
