"Customer states the unit makes ice slowly and has been leaking on the floor since they have gotten it. There was only a 48 hour exchange window for returning the unit to the dealer but he did not see it was leaking until someone was sent out for the slow ice issue. The dealer has told the customer that the manufacturers responsibility . The customer has been told many things. From it like the unit looks like it was dropped , the unit is not getting cold enough in the Ice maker area (but with no resolution as if nothing could be done about that) and the unit is unrepairable . I have been sent out to sort this out on Saturday when there is NO tech support. This customer said he has had about 6 visits for this units, I have no record of what has been done. Followed leak up to the RC ice maker. Removed everything off the IM evaporator. Found frost on the side wall. Noted the heater harness looks like it was keeping the IM from sealing at the back wall. Defrosted and reset Im bin and gaskets. Customer to monitor the unit and report if leaks or low ice production continues."
