"JB OUT 12/16/24.Customer states washing machine will fill with water and wash then drain water out. Customer states washing machine will not rinse. Clothing does not go through the rinse cycle. Upon arrival found washing machine in backyard but covered properly and with machine covers as well. Units are not exposed to the elements , washing machine and dryer outlet supply of extension cord. Advise customer use some extension cord on either washer or dryer.Also advised customer per page 4 of the supplied use and care manual from the manufacturer warning electrical shock hazard do not use an extension cord. Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire or electrical shock. Recommend customer contact a qualified electrician to have a proper grounded power outlet installed behind the washer and dryer. Tested in TOWLS cycle. Observed washer filled to proper water level and agitated full first wash cycle. Unit then drained water out and shut off. You need to not spin or add water for rinse. Contacted general electric TAG and spoke with Jesus who had run specific tests with the smart HQ diagnostic tool.A communication error was discovered and recommended replacement of the main control. Customer was given a reference # by Customer service and informed the customer to have me call WPTS. Called WPTS(7740525684 ) and explained what I was finding. They asked me questions about what had been done so far and customer usage. I have replaced the seals and shave not been able to duplicate the leak. WPTS (7740542234) states the customer should not rinse dishes but just scrape them. The also recommended using rinse aid. The customer does not like rinse aid . During testing the wash motor moans when starting. This could be a seal or bearing issue. Checked on sump at end of call and noted more water than before. Found the stainless steel tub is leaking at the lower seam. Replacement of a tub is a very labor intensive task since everything must be removed from it and reinstalled without damage.
