"JB out 9/15/23. Customer states washer wont wash and displays F7E1.Verified this is the only stored fault code: F 71 tachometer missing or wrong signal. Cleared fault code ad inspected underneath washer. Found capacitor hanging by wire harness ( out of shield) with one (red) wire broken. Screw that holds capacitor to is stripped (at hole in GEARCASE)so capicator fell down into moving drive belt. Reattached capacitor to GEARCASE securely and repaired broken wire. Tested unit in spin unit will not spin. I tested unit in agitation mode. In agitation mode unit would spin only and not agitate. Upon powering down machine unit continue to spin with electronic control in off mode. Unplugged power cord from electrical outlet to stock machine. Advise customer electronic control, Capacitor, wire, harness and GEARCASE assembly must be replaced. Estimate to replace above listed components will cost more than a new replace a washing machine. Customer has decided against repairing and will purchased a new washer. Have advised customer to not plug machine into power outlet for safety reasons. Machine has been spinning in the off position."

Found unit with ice dispenser frozen in by ice being stuck in dispenser. Used steamer to free ice dispenser. Ice caused by Condensation in ice dispenser. Unit is working as intended. No repair needed.

"Found that the customer had the spin set to off on the cycles. Advised customer of the settings issue. He will make sure the spin is set to high. Also the dispenser over is installed correctly, attempted to tighten the console but it cannot tighten more otherwise it will strip the threads. Advised customer that this is common on most Front load washers and does not affect the performance and is merely cosmetic. Unit is functioning as designed"

Cycled unit and found noise coming From compressor area. Inspected compressor area and found seal system Copper tubing pressed against cabinet causing noise. Moved all sealed system lines away from cabinet unit now sounds normal. Job completed.

Customer stated that the unit under cooked cookies and cakes. I took temp range and found temps are 5 degrees too cold. I calibrated temps. All tests good.

Cx complaint is that she was getting ice and said it dropped water all over. Ice was stuck in chute and clogged the door. Unit is working per design. Ice maker was not making ice due to ice pile in back of bin cleared and unit harvested and filled per design.

Found the adjusters wheel broken. So upper rack just falls down. I replaced the adjuster kits and all tested ok. ; used 1 W10712395 (Adjusters) from stock

No gas getting to ignitor. Bake burner is warped not allowing unit to bake. This unit is too old and part is no longer available. WB16K0022

F9e0. Found L1 and L2 were tripped. Reset unit and cleared codes. Checking unit to see were we are at. Running a test on preheat. Tested and found thermostat was out. Replaced and tested. Took a bit to find. Checked out and working again. Job completed

Ran diagnostics and found a couple of them related to communication and to stock key. But nothing major wrench calibration on the washer checked twice. At this time of service cannot put my finger on anything wrong

Icemaker fill tube funnel was frozen over upon arrival. Cleared blockage and tested. Unit is now producing.

Dryer was noisy. Installed the new repair kit

Found unit would start draining when plugged in. Pressed and held cancel button for five scones unit stopped draining. Tested in diagnostics mode all ok. No issues found.

"JB out 9/15/23. Customer states that the interior of the dryer as many tiny chips in the white paint (see quick,pic photos). Also Detergent is not rinsing out of the clothes even after several attempts with extra rinsing.Further inspection of the dryer inner door, drum and rear bulkhead found the many tiny specks are not chips in the paint but actual specs that wash off.Tested washer set for bulky Items cycle with towels and no detergent added revealed a large amount of detergent in wash water indicating too much detergent being used.Found customer was using HE Turbo liquid but now used All (free and clear) detergent pods.Instruct: HE TURBO is too highly concentrated (about 6 times the concentration of regular he detergent) .Found unit drains into a French Drain that is allowing a siphon to pull dirty and soapy water back into the washtub. Also recommend an air gap be installed on the drain pipe as the French drain drains ver slowly and can backup in into the washer. Recommended only he detergent, powder or liquid no pods. NO HE TURBO DETERGENT as it is too highly concentrated for this low fill smaller capacity washer. Also recommend customer removes the Installed, thin foil. Aluminum Dryer Ducting, and Replace is with Rigid Metal Ducting to prevent potential fire of risk for loss of life. No defect found."
