"JB Out 8/29/22. Customer states dryer takes sometimes three times the normal cycle length for clothing to dry. Upon arrival verified installer has used a thin foil type ducting material. Per the supplied installation guide from Maytag, dryer ducting material must be rigid metal only and that a foil type material ducting poses a potential Fire hazard and risk for loss of life. It is the homeowners responsibility to correct this installation deficiency. The dryer is operating properly but there is no airflow to the exit of the house. Currently the existing ducting is 100% restricted. No repair to dryer itself is needed. No parts used. No charge to customer. Job complete"
