After replacing the door for the cosmetic issue I heat treated the door gaskets for better sealing. I recommend leaving the door closed for a hour or two to allow the door to conform to the new doorway. All functions tested ok and door was okayed by the customer. Job completed.

Replaced belt tested unit unit working properly

Found the unit had a f2e1 error code stored shorted or stuck keypad. I removed and replaced the main control that has the user interface inter graded into it and ran a bale cycle. All tested ok after replacing defective touchpad control. Job completed.

Found the right side door gasket torn and not sealing. I replaced the refrigerator door gasket and heat treated for better sealing. I found the issue with the water dispenser and ice maker is the filter clogged. When I put my by pass plug the water dispenser and ice maker work. Recommend getting a genuine whirlpool filter. All functions of the door checked ok after repair. Job completed. Recommend leaving right door closed for the next hour or two.

Advise customer front load washers prefer, and are designed to hold larger loads and will spin more smoothly with larger loads as opposed to small wash loads. "JB out 11/20/24.Customer states water in dishwasher is not hot.Upon arrival dishwasher was running a wash load.Opened dishwasher and verified water was slightly warm.Canceled current Wash cycle. Tested in NORMAL wash cycle and verified water being supplied to the dishwasher is far below the required 120f minimum as outlined in the factory supplied Installation guide (page #8). Water entering the wash tub is approximately 65-75f. House water heater is too far from dishwasher and HOT water pipe in concrete slab (November-February) is very cold and cools the water quickly resulting in cool water being supplied to dishwasher.Ran Diagnostics and extracted only one stored error code F7E1 indicating water is too cold. Cleared stored error code. Ran Service diagnostics and verified with customer present that the heating element does heat as designed but cannot heat the incoming water (74f) to the minimum of 120f. During heating element test, the heater melted ice cube quickly.Recommend the installation and use of a Point of Use Hot water heater mounted under the kitchen sink, supplying Hot water to only the Dishwasher itself set to a minimum of 125f. Reset onboard Computer Control..Also advise this model dishwasher has a stainless steel inner door panel but a Plastic wash tub. The plastic wash tub does NOT hold the heat and therefore will not dry ceramic, metal and glass items unless water temperature is no less than 120f and will not provide good drying results on Plastic items being washed as they do not hold the heat well.No charge to customer. JOB COMPLETE"
