JB OUT 12/19/24Customer states since brand new unit will not power up control panel and will not start but drum light works when door is open. Upon arrival verified customers concern. Removed control panel found low-voltage wire from appliance control unit to the user interface unplugged. Plugged connect back into user interface test and operation verified control panel now powers up and accepts all commands. Tested and several cycles with customer verified dryer starts and heats And operates as designed. No charge to customer. No use. Job complete. NOTEFound dryer installed using thin foil ducting material. Instructed customer to replace thin foil ducting material with heavy metal ducting material as outline in the manufacturer supplied installation guide. Advise customer with thin foil ducting poses a potential risk for fire and loss of life. Ducting does not come with the dryer when purchased and is not covered under the warranty. It is imperative that the ducting be replaced with heavy metal ducting.

"Unit was not communicating properly, replaced harness because drain pump line was cut. Drain out all of the water, and than tested unit out. Noticed that unit would not get off of drain mode. "JB OUT 12/19/24Customer states machine is running. It has water in it. Motor is running, but it is not cleaning the dishes. Upon arrival test the dishwasher verified water is entering dishwasher and wash motor is running. Further inspection found both upper and lower spray arms not turning. Removed both spray, arms and cleaned debris from each spray jet. Reinstall spray spray arms. Ran unity again verified spray arms are now turning and spraying however, water entering the dishwasher is far below the required 120°F minimum as required and listed in the manufacturers installation guide. Water is coming in around 50 to 55°F. Recommend the purchase use and installation of a point of use hot water heater set to 125°F to provide no less than the required 120°F . "JB out 12/19/24Customer states dishwasher is not heating water and dishes are not drying at all by end cycle. Upon arrival found dishwasher newly installed. Tested dishwasher and found water being supplied through. The dishwasher is far below the required 120°F minimum as outlined in the supplied installation guide supplied by Whirlpool. water tested about 65°. Advise customer the distance of the water heater to the dishwasher. Will reduce the temperature of the water being supplied to the dishwasher from the water heater. Customer purchase and use a point of use hot water heater installed under the kitchen sink adjacent to the dishwasher and set to a minimum 125°F. This will ensure the dishwasher receives no less than 120°F as required. also recommend customer add liquid rinse aid to liquid rinse aid dispenser and always maintain that there is in the dispenser. This will help assist in drying. Customer plastic dishes and resin dishes. Do not hold the heat and will likely not drive very well. Once the water temperature has been corrected. Ceramic, glass and metal dishes and utensils will dry very nicely when the dishwasher is being supplied with 120°F Temperature. No parts needed or used. Dishwasher is less than 30 days old so there is no charge for the defect service vis it.JIB COMPLETE"

Check the washer door lock is busted continuously tries to lock and doesnt succeeded. Replace the door lock assembly tested operations. Unit is working as designed now at this time.

Found clip securing lid was ajar not slowing top to clip in. Fixed position of clip and secured top in properly. Units lid not longer protruding on right side.

"Found screw, securing rotor motor was backed all the way out. Found old screw and secured properly. Tested, unit no longer shaking or making unnatural noise when spinning. Also gave customer a few tips for what cycles to use when washing more absorbent materials. Had customer put closing in unit and showed them how to load it properly. Got clothes, wet and showed customer a baseline for what to expect when unit is spinning in terms of movement."

Unit was not heating upon arrival. Found that the purple wire connected to the heater assembly was burnt and disconnected. I fixed the connector with a new one and crimped it on to the wiring. Reassembled and tested. Unit is now heating as designed.

Found the file number is 7740559753. Found the unit has a f6e8 error code. The error is not on the tech sheet so I called tech line and got documentation done as well as a recommendation to repair the error.
