"JB out 9/4/24Customer states dirty water is left in dishwasher sump at end of cycle. Upon arrival, verified dirty water standing in dishwasher sump. Further inspection found check valve flap in drain hose. Stuck partially preventing water from draining. Remove end of drain hose from water pump. Adjusted check valve flap verified free motion. Reinstalled drain hose on the pump. Fill dishwasher with water allowed unit to run for a minute verified wash cycle performance. Cancel cycle verified dishwasher is now draining completely. Tested again in normal cycle verified correct water fill and wash operation. Cancel cycle verified water drains quickly. Recommend customer remove filter cup once per month and scrub clean then reinstall. No parts used or needed. No charge to customer. Job Complete"

Found the unit making noise on spin and found the drain hose came out of the retaining clip. If left undone it would have caused a leak. Good thing the customer called in. All functions tested ok after reinstalling drain tube to the retainer clip. All functions now ok. Job completed.
