The customer unplugged the unit for about 30 minutes and the sound was gone. The defrost must be working to some degree, the customer states they never had cooling issues just the sound. The unit was unplugged so I can not confirm my suspicion of frost being the reason for this issue. Instructed customer to run the unit and to contact ARS directly to expedite potential recalls and catch the unit while it is making the noise."

Instructed customer on longer defrosting do to unit having r600a refrigerant. This will cause the freezer to rise in temperature. Fresh food section was cooling fine. Set the freezer baffle to the coldest setting. Changed the fresh food setting one setting colder. Unit operating as designed.

Customer showed me video of noise unit was making. Found washer in drain pan. Lifted washer so that the tub had more clearance to drop down and not hit any part of the drain pan. Also found signs of a drain hose hitting a wall. Was unable to determine if it was the correct drain hose on this washer or previous washer. Secured drain hose to prevent it moving and slapping the wall and back of washer. Sent unit through high speed spin and unit had no issues spinning. Or made any unusual noises. Unit is working properly.
