"Upon arrival re-inspected unit found that unit is making adequate ice customers dumped the ice bin at about 11 PM last night I counted the ice cubes the unit had a little over 60 or so. Ice cubes in it this unit normally makes eight ice cubes every hour and a half to two hours do you amount of ice cubes that I counted show adequate ice production also, the lower icemaker is making adequate ice. We checked the calibration on the auto fill for the ounces. The unit is calibrated. The unit is cooling as intended at this moment I do not feel any need to replace any parts on this unit. The customer approved this job complete"

Verified that the temperature at the icemaker thermistor stabilized at around 7 degrees. Techline stated that optimal temperature for the thermistor and icemaker to perform as designed should be between 0-5 degrees. Icemaker specifications state the thermistor should harvest at 8 degrees. Verified no items are blocking air flow to the icemaker and the door seals are in good condition. Lowered freezer temperature 1 notch above the recommended. Customer will advise if adjusting the temperature did not help in ice production. Sr# 7737316338"

"Checked the unit ice door gasket was off , reinstalled correct , tested complaint was the ice door assembly does not shut all the way tested with a flashlight show the customer that the ice door is in fact, shutting and seals off good, if you use crushed ice ice pieces, get stuck in between the door, shoot and dispenser door as a result will allow airflow to come in there. Advise customer to minimize this problem to not use crushed ice all the time and maintenance. The shoot checked the icemaker settings and lo and behold. It is set to crush Unit is working as designed showed customer that it does seal off good"

Upon arrival replaced lower wire harness and replaced both main control and ui unit turned on and is beginning to cool as it should advised customer that the unit will need at least 24 hours to get to proper temperatures and to start to make ice contacted tech support with this issue they gave they gave me an sr#7737320679 the unit is still covered under third-party Whirlpool warranty.
