whirlpool washer WTW7300DW0 Upon arrival customer had two complaints. First complaint was the motor was making a humming noise as the unit agitated. Second complaint was unit was not draining properly. Took an ohm reading off of the drain pump motor and found it out of range. Removed and replaced drain pump and tested unit. Customer still complaining about how hum when unit is agitating. Called tech-support and spoke with Andy, ran unit through high-speed and low-speed agitation, high-speed and low-speed spin, ran test 51 to ensure unit is operating properly. Unit functioning normal with no abnormal noises. Tech-support pointed me to use and care guide page for the bottom right-hand corner says normal noises you can expect: It says at various stages well the agitator is moving you will hear a humming and a whirling noise is this is expected and normal.
