Checked unit found mold build up on door gasket. Customer stated she attempted to clean as best as she could. She was unable to get rid of it. I informed her the next best option was to replace door gasket. Also found water pump making odd noise removed kick plate and opened pump filter pump motor getting stuck causing draining issue along with an A10 error code at times. Informed customer that initial repair is unrelated to both of these issues that WPL provided an authorization for. Initial issue was unit not starting which I resolved and installed a door latch and control board. I informed customer I could not cover repair under warranty unless whirlpool decides to cover it because it is not a recall on the previous work done to the unit. Customer did not have running water on last visit so I was unable to due an overall check of the functions of machine. Checked unit found ffc temp at 33 degrees. Customer complaint veggies are getting frosty and other things like eggs. Entered service mode checked FFC & FC thermistors and both passed also checked damper function open/close waiting 1 minute in between to switch positions. Damper passed test. Adjusted temp on service mode test 7 and educated customer on how air flow works in their unit and how to properly load their food items and not to place items right in front of damper, also advised customer to use perforated bags for vegetables and fruits as they hold a lot of moisture and can sweat and develop frost. If this issue reoccurs I will have to replace cntrl board on unit.

Both parts will need to be replaced.d; ordrng 1 5303918776 (thermistor) and 1 808062701 (DEFROST ) and 1 809069201 (motor), Installed new parts on unit. Retested unit and it’s now cooling in both sections. Found shutter to rear airflow closed causing limiting air flow to rc and cause it not too cool to temp, open shutter and set tempts to correct setting. Unit is now cooling in both sections.
