Customer says that they never heard water splashing around inside the tub but now they hear the water and consider that to be too loud for their liking. rhythmic thumping is heard every now and then throughout the cycle, this is the lower wash arm engaging the basket due to thermal expansion and weight on lower basket, causing it to sag just slightlywhere the wash arm slightly makes contacting causing a small thumping noise. Normal range is between 17.8 and 21.8 ohms. Drain pump needs to be replaced. Control is sending 117vac but voltage is being lost somewhere in the lower harness. Lower harness needs to be replaced as well. Replaced drain pump and lower harness. Tested unit. Unit operating as designed. Job complete.
