Upon arrival I turned heating element on I tried it in different settings and I was getting the same results I also noticed Switch for that front element would not work When you turned it to the right which would be for just the center part of the element to be warm. Upon arrival I entered washer into diagnostics received a F7 E8 Error code Also received long drain code also. I then ran test 51 was able to duplicate sound and also noticed drain was Really struggling to push water out. I then tilted washer over could see that the seal was leaking from gear case and also damage to the motor. Ordering parts listed. Customers issue is coil drain pan was iced up there for when it would going to defrost water would leak into the bottom of the freezer compartment. I found drain to be plugged with a piece of Styrofoam. I deiced the drain pan and also removed all the ice at the bottom of the freezer compartment.I’m back side refrigerator removed P-trap cleared it Of all debris. Water is now draining into drain pan as designed. All other functions test good I also switch the TheDefrost setting from adaptive to every eight hours. Job completed
