Customer states there is a strong gas smell noted during broil. Customer states that PG&E told her there might be a delay in ignition that is a potential explosion hazard. Tried lighting the broil about 10 times and found it ignites properly. Called WPTS ( 7726728806 ) to ask how they wanted me to proceed. They stated if we could not duplicate the issue they could not recommend any parts. Let unit stay in broil for a while and started sniffing around the back . Noted a strong gas odor at the connection from the line from the regulator to the broil fitting at the connection to the broil fitting. Found that I could turn this connecting nut by hand. Found that the nut was able to turn about 4 rotations before it even snugged the tube up to the broil fitting. Tightened with a small wrench and tested. No more gas smell noted. "Entered diagnostics, error code E53, low voltage to Control Board. Voltage check at Control Board shows 120VAC to board. In diagnostics all components activate. According to Frigidaire, continuity checks of Control Board and Lid Lock checked, continuity good, attempted to replace Lid Lock shows no change. Continuity check of all wire harness shows good continuity, no shorts to ground found. Any attempt to start unit in normal operation produces same result, even after Hard Reset of Control Board. Frigidaire recommends replacing Control Board, 3 Control Boards attempted, informing customer.Customer requesting refund, unit not operational, tech requesting refund for customer satisfaction, customer will contact HQ. Job closed."

"Called techline said that an 1/8th gap is normally and can be caused by gasket being thicker on one side. Tried putting rolled paper towel behind gasket to force gasket to expand, so doors would line up properly and once gasket reformed after a few weeks would remove rolled paper. Informed Cx that door gasket is compressed and I could replace gasket but that may not resolve issue. MM heated heated Gasket and tried to reform gasket. Informed Cx that over time gasket on feet door would compress and doors would be even. Cx stated he will call pacific sales and have unit replaced. Techline used previous file number."
