I unplugged unit and plugged it back in. Compressor came on and full frost pattern. Customer said they did try unplugging and it happened again. It appears to have a programming glitch. Need to replace user interface and main control. Removed and replaced main control and user interface. Tested unit. All tests good.

They have told me the clock resets if the unit attempts to connect to Whirlpools servers and can not . The said code for this unit is 49XBFC9P3B . Informed customer of Whirlpools resolution for this issue. They have stated that whirlpools connectivity team might need to be called to register the said code to this unit. Turned off WiFi until customer is able to get the unit set up.

WASHER WHIRLPOOL WFW8620HW1 Installed coupler. Customer states the unit would not turn on for them . They had just done a load and when they tried starting another load it would not turn on. I tried touching the power button and the unit would not start. I did have rubber gloves on. Entered the service mode and found no stored faults. Once in the service mode I was able to cancel out of this mode with the power button. After this I could start the unit normally. Called WPTS (7727070727) to document and to see if there was any tests to run. They stated that the unit would have to be in the failed state to determine the part at fault. Unit operating normally at this time.
