On arrival the unit was not heating. Found that the dryer had caught on fire due to a massive lint buildup and burned the heating element. Found the exhaust vent completely filled with Lint and water from a clogged venting going out on the double story building of the apartment. Had to open up front of the dryer and completely clear out massive lint buildup that had already caught on fire. Unit failed because venting was clogged not letting moisture and lint leave the unit. Failure was due to a fire which was due to poor venting and venting not been properly maintained.
