DRYER AMANA NED4655EW1 Checked power at the service block found 110 from each line to neutral and w30 vac between both lines. Found the unit was heating. Checked the outlet connection by gently moving it . The unit stopped. Checked power again and found no voltage between L1 and N. Moved cord and found voltage changed again. Pulled out plug and found heat damage where the conductors enter the plastic portion and arcing marks on the tips of the conductors. Documented with WPTS(7728711161). Informed customer that the fault was at the wall outlet that the cord plugs into . Suggested that they should consult an electrician about the outlet* and the dryer was operating as designed.

STACKED UNIT WHIRLPOOL WGT4027HW0 Customer stated that the unit is making a grinding noise in the sensing and wash cycle. Found pulley cover on bottom of the gear case is rubbing on the drain in the drain pan. Unit needs to be removed and legs lifted and pan needs to be adjusted to avoid rubbing. This is an install issue.
