I removed the door and added a Nylon washer on the bottom freezer door hinge to lift up the door to correct the gap, now both gaps are gone and the door is closing properly, also in a previous repair both compartments gaps in between the cabinet and the liner has been sealed with Silicone Sealant (WP482338).
