Washer still makes clonking noise . Customer had same issue with other washer . Whirlpool exchanged the unit . Now the new washer is making same clonking noise . I called techline , spoke with Scott SR#7727311783 . We ran spin test in diagnostics , didn’t make the noise , only in drain/spin cycle . techline instructed me to order and replace central electric and drive motor at same time ordrng 1 W10885487 (motor-drve) and 1 W11399433 (CENTRAL ELECTRIC )

It is not good to have this rust go down into the sump it condemned the motor.
