WPTS says to have the customer raise the temperature in the FC . This might make the RC IM drip less. They have suggested replacing the adapter and if this does not work apply PERMA-GUM behind the adapter. For the FC issue the drain has to be cleared. Customer states the unit takes a long time to dry. Started unit and checked the outlet outside. The dryer is on a outside wall. I was cleaning the vent and noted the exhaust air was not hot. Then after a few minutes the air warmed up. Checked the timer and found the unit should have been heating the whole time . Checked voltage and found there is 245vac from L1-L2 and varying voltage that does not add up to 245 from neutral to both Lines. Noted the foil ducting was too long and felt this might explain why the unit did not pass Whirlpools card test. Disconnected the vent and when I did I got shocked and there was about a 4-6 inch arc from the dryer to the ducting in my hand. The dryer stopped. The breaker was not thrown. Called WPTS (7727227890) and was told to check for any damaged wires or grounded parts. Checked the harness and element . I did not see any thing grounded. Checked power and found under load all 245vac goes to one side of the CKT . WPTS said
