Cut out for cooktop is too big. There is a half inch gap on the left side and a 3/8 inch gap on the right side. The plywood that is normally underneath the countertop that lines up with the edge of the cut out for the cooktop was cut back about 6 to 8 inches. There is no place to install the brackets or the straps to keep the cooktop from moving. Advise customer that they need to have their contractor come out and to install new plywood under the cooktop or add plywood so that the straps can be applied to the cooktop and to keep it from moving. The downdraft is not level it is lower on the left side this was not an issue caused by the installation of the cooktop this was caused by the installation of the Grant granite countertop. Informed customer that left side of that downdraft underneath the counter needs to be shimmed up so it is level. If I see customer shell have to have her contractor remove the fan assembly and shim the left side of the downdraft assembly. Advise customer when she gets the issue with the cooktop and the plywood fixed we can come out and install the brackets to secure the cooktop properly. customer stated shes going to call a contractor and have the cooktop and the downdraft removed and have the countertop fixed and have them re-installed by the contractor. Customer said that she would have the contractor do this and we dont have to do it.

Customer was running the dishwasher without the lower rack in place. The lower rack has a spray arm attachment which is used for the Silverware. Without the rack and place the water was shooting straight forward.

Customer using non he detergent causing water over flow. Showed customer pictures of he products they should be using.

Customer unhappy with burner function. Stated that would stay hot long enough for their style of cooking. Electric element working as intended. Registered complaint with techline.
