Unit leaking out bottom of FC. I found that the drain tube was frozen over causing defrost water to pool in evaporator drain pan and eventually leak down and out the door. I found that the heat probe designed to keep the drain from freezing was bent and not going down in drain all the way. I also found that the lip on the drain pan was bent down and there was no lip. I defrosted drain. I straightened probe and inserted all the way. I put the lip back into the drain pan as well. I tested proper drain operation with water. All tests good.

"Upon arrival, went to replace the left door switch. After removing it found that the inner liner was full of water and corrosion, was able to dry it up with a paper towel, but there is a short in the harness that comes out of the actual liner, which is not repairable and was damaged due to water inside the liner at this point, I contacted tech-support tech-support, had me run a couple tests had me send him pictures of the corrosion, the rusty harness, and all of the stuff that I have found. They are putting the unit up for review and replacement tech-support gave me a SR number. That number is 773-721-9214. At this moment there is nothing I can do to fix this product. Whirlpool will be in contact with the customer to see what steps are going. Further job complete advise customer that it might take 3 to 5 days for whirlpool to contact them regarding a replacement refrigerator after review."
