"F8E1 present upon arrival. Found one of the solenoids on the valve to have a bad connection with the harness. Fixed that and fixed the valve issue. Alternatively, the unit is on a pedestal which puts it much higher than the drain pipe. According to Technical Installation Pointer #: W10608624, this is causing water to siphon back into the unit. I shared this information with the customer and informed them that the best way to fix this is to remove the washer from its pedestal. That would put the drain pipe at the proper level and would not allow any more siphoning. Unit is now working as design. Job complete."

Checked settings and found the FC damper was set to MAX and the RC control set to one setting warmer than recommended as WPTS recommended on previous support calls. Checked product temperature on arrival and found the product in the crisper bins read 43f . This temperature is higher than ideal for long term storage of items the customer keeps in the unit such as dairy and deli products. Installed the new control and left the setting at recommended. Customer to monitor unit and to contact whirlpool customer service if the issue reoccurs. ARS has replaced the control twice per WPTS recommendation. WPTS has been contacted at least 3x by me alone about this issue and I have been given the same steps to follow and the same parts have been recommended by WPTS.
