"JB out 5/20/24.Customer states dryer makes noises with an operation and does not dry completely in sensor cycles. Tested dryer in normal dry cycle. Verified intermittent loud grinding sound from blower wheel. Also verified squeaking noise from idler pulley. Further inspection found thin foil ducting material used additionally inspected outside exhaust vent hood and found within 5 inches of ground causing restriction. Recommend customer replace exhaust vent hood with louvered type. Additionally recommend customer, remove existing thin foil flexible ducting, and replace with heavy aluminum bendable type ducting or galvanized steel to help prevent potential fire hazard.
