While I appreciate that my refrigerator has now been repaired, this was the only positive aspect of my experience.
I initially scheduled a service appointment within the 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM window and arranged my day accordingly. After the scheduled timeframe had passed, I contacted your office and was informed that the technician would not arrive for an additional two hours. Due to this delay, I was required to reschedule.
For the rescheduled appointment, the technician arrived approximately one hour late. Upon arrival, he did not introduce himself or offer any acknowledgment or apology for the delay. He entered my home without asking any preliminary questions regarding the issue. When I explained the problem, there was no response or engagement. He then took a personal phone call and carried on a non-work-related conversation while in my home.
After completing the repair, the technician criticize the quality of my refrigerator and suggesting it would likely fail in the near future. He also commented that my husband should clean out a “large amount of hair” allegedly accumulated in the appliance.
(After his departure, I inspected and disassembled the area he had recommended for cleaning and found no buildup or debris requiring attention). These statements were unnecessary and conveyed a condescending tone.
Overall, the service I received fell well below reasonable professional standards. Based on this experience, I will not be a returning customer.
