Service technician was very good and installed replacement parts. The ice maker is now operating normally, however the refrigerator temperature is only slightly below 50 degrees, so therefore needs further repair at the earliest opportunity. We appreciate your assistance and understand the difficulty in pinpointing the exact cause as these modern refrigerators are much more complex than the kind my mother and father had

They came to “repair” it but the refrigerator was worse than before. It does not get cold at all unlike before it was a little bit cold. I had just gone grocery shopping and everything went bad. The guy had told me to just let a layer of ice that had supposedly built up melt and it would get colder but there was barely any ice built up because it had melted on its own. We could understand how that could make the freezer work but not the bottom part.
