George was awesome. ARS customer service was poor

Original service date was cancelled and rescheduled without informing me. Hired someone to sit in my house to wait, no show. I finally call and was then told that it was rescheduled without letting me know. I was told Saturday morning window between 11-2 with a phone call to give me hour heads up, repair specialist shows up at 10:20, fortunately I was home. Called to speak to supervisor, was placed on hold and then I was told she would call me back. Waited and called back to learn she had already left for the day but I was assured she waited call me early next morning. Never got a call. The below ratings are for my experience with George the service specialist.

The lead time to initially come out for repair was longer then expected. But I understood, I work in an industry where the lead times are not necessarily under my control. So I understood. However after waiting for the replacement part for a while, the repair man arrived, only to identify that he has the wrong replacement part. So we had to reschedule the repair. Then after a week of waiting I was notified that I needed to be rescheduled because the tech was out sick, and then we had to wait even longer for a rescheduled date because the company had training for the repairmen. So then we were rescheduled again!!!! So all together we were scheduled four times for a 30 minute repair! So finally we received confirmation that the repair to install the new part for the oven was going to happen! Upon his arrival, he said the replacement part is damaged. He said it was “bent”, I had him install the part anyways because we’ve been without an oven for three weeks now. I asked him if he can just get the oven working for now and come back with a new undamaged replacement part, and he refused to do that. This process has been a pain in the ass and customer service is horrible. The repair person was very rude and unaccommodating. If I didn’t accept the currently installed damaged equipment, we would have been rescheduled a 5th time. Taking into consideration how many times we’ve been rescheduled, you would think that your serviceman would have been a little more understanding and accommodating. I’ve never experienced that level of insensitivity.

Hi George- thanks for coming out and looking at our Frigidaire refrig and freezer that was making loud noises. We appreciated your tips for monitoring our appliances, and have determined the loud noise is coming from the freezer. Rich thinks it’s the compressor, and made a short video of the sound. Can you please come by again, diagnose and fix the problem? Freezer does this usually 5-6 times per day. Thank you.
